I was not there, but many years ago worked at Riley in the Child Guidance Clinic. They are the best for the children of Indiana.
Very nice group of people working in the Sleep study lab. Very focused on the patient (made him feel safe and comfortable) They literally watched every breath he took :) -and made sure the family was comfortable too!
Daughter had a Heart Cath. yesterday to repair a hole. We absolutely loved the surgical team. They were great! Each one came in and talked to her and made sure she understood exactly what was going to happen so that she felt comfortable. They were very kind friendly, and thorough.
I have loved the last 4 years dealing with Riley Children's Hospital, however, their office staff needs to be more pleasant and be more courteous to their patients and families. This is an on going problem I have with the hospital AND doctors offices throughout the state. But the DOCTORS are amazing. (Specifically Herdt<pediatrician> and Roberts <opthamology>)
They are an amazing hospital we loved the drs an nurses our kids had both times we were there

My son was transported to Riley's via helicopter. My husband nor I were allowed to ride in the helicopter because there was not room. A little understandable because there was a health team on the helicopter. However, we had to drive which meant my son arrived to the hospital an hour before us. When I arrived to find him in the ER, he was in a room by himself. I think it's great, I was a riley baby when I was younger and now my daughter is, also they gave my amazing lil brother great care until he lost his Battle to lukiemia so after seeing what they offer and there time and attention to these kids it's amazing
