Was told by the solicitor, Susan Webster, that they couldn't locate my late mother's will. My sister and I sat in her office slightly aghast as she said somewhat indifferently that my mother may have collected it (why was there no record?!), and may have destroyed it. My mother would never had done this, and entrusted the will to Rigby Golding. To add insult to injury, the firm then emailed my dead mother (the day before her funeral) to inform her that they had found the will and would she like to come and collect it!!! Utte... read more
