RecommendedRick's place is very historic. Loved the food and atmosphere. Ruck asked me where I was from and I said Ohio. He commenced to give me a hard time and I can tell he enjoys jabbing folks. The regulars were giving him a hard time too. If you are near Lexington or Louisville it is worth the trip to Frankfurt to visit Rick's.
Enjoyed talking to owner while making our Breakfast. Crawfish pie, fresh fried green tomatoes. I loved buckwheat pancakes. Funky, fun place. MUST go... Carol
Best burger I have had in a long time and the service was excellent!!
Don't dare miss this place in Frankfort, Kentucky! Rick, his daughter Hannah, and Scooby are the nicest and funniest people you'll ever meet. We pre-partied with them before the Derby... a highlight of our trip.
Have been eating here for years and is definitely a favorite. We have moved from town so now only have opportunity to visit on occasional Saturday but well worth the drive to visit.
As soon as you walk through the door your family. Rick and family of staff were amazing. Plus my furbabies license plate from my truck now hangs on the wall. Thanks Hannah for being an amazing waitress, and Rick for your wonderful generosity. God Bless you all my friends. Chris Beard
It doesn't get any better than this. It is exactly what you expect it to be, nothing less and nothing more. The best food on the planet. If you like food with flavor, you will have an amazing experience.
Overpriced! 2 burgers (not huge) 2 waters (bottles $2) $31.00. Ugh
