We are not a buffet
Ate at Rick's today. We stopped by over labor day weekend but they were closed. Rick stopped by and let us in for a drink and good conversation. Today we actually got to eat and have great conversation with Rick. His food is delicious. You can tell his ingredients are fresh. It was awesome. We can't wait to go back and see Rick and try more of his great food.
There are a lot of great restaurants in this state, mostly in Louisville and Lexington, the majority of them in fancier settings....but this little gem has a chef who gives you a wonderful meal made of quality products and attention to detail that I would pit against any of the bigger restaurants. Trust me it’s worth making a trip to Frankfort to sample his offerings!
Went in for the beignets which I hadn’t had since I retired. Good to see Hannah and Rick again. Will go back for eggs Benedict and PO Boys.
