I had been suffering from shoulder and neck pain and stiffness over a weekend so went on the hunt for a local physio where I could view availability and book online. I booked in with Leira and after my first session with her the stiffness was relieved instantly and the pain was fully gone by the following week. She also provided exercises to help strengthen my problem areas and as a result, some arm aches I have been suffering from for a few months have now been reduced.

I've been going to see Richard at his Heald Green clinic for over 3 years now. Nothing too formal, I just usually just book in when tweak something at the gym! I have always found him to be friendly and knowledgeable and, unlike other physios I have visited, he has always managed to sort out my issue within a session or two. He's even given me advice about warming up for my deadlifts that I still follow to this day (because it works!). I play hockey and tennis and have had issues in the past with my back, elbow and more recently my knee, for which I’ve been treated by Richard Higgs physiotherapy. Richard is extremely knowledgeable and gets to the root of the problem quickly, so the right treatment can be applied to get me back up and running asap, but always with the right advice for exercises to do at home, what to do and what not to do to aid recovery. I would fully recommend Richard to anyone looking for a physiotherapist.
