Absolutely awful in a crisis situation. Refuses to speak to family members. If you need to be on short term disability due to your condition, do not see this man...you will lose your job first before he does anything to help you. Weird and uncaring family members as staff. Not at all recommended.
Dr. Minter has been extremely helpful in my diagnosis. Not only does he explain what's happening but how the meds will work. He even gave me some information he wrote up to simplify everything. He welcome's calls and questions. Of couse, you should be see counselor as well to talk about your personal issues but as a shrink goes, Dr Minter is great.
Dr. Minter gave a horrible mis-diagnosis of my psychiatric issues and I had to see a new doctor in order to get the help I needed. Thankfully, I was aware enough of my issues to know that Minter was not adequate. If I hadn't, I would currently be in a world of hurt. Avoid at all costs!
