Took my dog here a couple of weeks ago. He was diagnosed with issues with his hear and lungs. I was relieved to have a diagnosis (albeit heartbreaking), my previous vet before house move to the area dismissed my concerns. Medicine was administered and all at reasonable prices. However, this vet is not one for compassion. We took an injured seagull here in the evening after finding it with a very bad wing. We were unsure whether any vet would take it, and we knew it didn't have a chance however being put to sleep by a professional is a better fate than dying to the elements. I didn't catch the name of the young lady at the reception but she was very lovely and understanding, had no problem at all with us bringing the seagull in and she was polite and respectful. John & his partners are excellent vets. I've been going there with my dogs for over 25 yrs
I was very happy with the treatment and surgeries given to my two dogs! I found the staff friendly helpful and kind! John is a wonderful vet who says it as it is! I don’t need head patting I needed a proper vet and this in my opinion is what John is! Sadly I was persuaded to change vets and I regret this very much! I wish I had stayed!
