I use the valet parking to check in and not allowed to use the luggage cart to bring my belongings to my room. I had to trust the kid who took my keys with over $7000 of photography equipment. And hour and a half later I'm still calling to try to get it brought to my room. Another 20 minutes later they call and say so "we understand you want two bags of luggage brought your room? Terrible construction noise starting at 5am. No self park so avoiding the $35 valet isn't possible. Housekeeping will knock on your door at 8am to ask if you are checking out that day so don't plan on sleeping in. I love Westins but this one was a dissapointment.
Very upset the pool wasn't opened on Memorial Day weekend. Would have booked at other Starwood hotel(with a shuttle) for less points with our friends had we known it wasn't going to be opened. Disappointing.
Beautiful new hotel! Great service and decide! Will be better once the JW is completed next year!
Regarding the spa... fabulous. We enjoyed a spa day last week and it was amazing. Our group was treated so well from the instant we entered the spa area and wrapped ourselves in the comfy robes. Deborah was kindly consistent in checking on us and Twayana was there in the same way. I enjoyed a Sweet Peach exfoliating scrub and a manicure by Brenda and Robin and both were absolute treats. Best hotel ive been to on my trip from san diego to nashville
not impressed.I chose the Westin over the Renaissance, not based on the Renaissance but based on the fantastic service provided at the Westin in DT Cleveland. Big mistake. Was given a room that shares a wall with the elevator. Went up to the club lounge at 5:30 only to find it curtained off to a tiny area for a private party, leaving a sorry looking area. When I asked about any drinks or an honor bar, I was told you need to go out to the rooftop bar??? And bring it back in. Again, the Westin in Cleveland couldn't have been m... read more
