I was illegally towed by retriever towing. There was no signage in my apartments saying I couldn't park where I parked and they passed over 3 illegally parked cars including one parked in a handicapped space with no tag and one illegally parked in a fire lane. There was no contact with myself as the owner of the car and no contact with my complex saying it could be towed as they towed me in the middle of the night.
They are scammers, took my car when it shouldn't have plus now my front end is screwed up

This company would not be rated any stars by me if I had that option. Please PM me if you have been in a situation with this company where the company was clearly in the wrong and did not have a legal right to tow your car.
The Law in oregon is, that they need to let the car off the hook when the owner shows up and they are not allowed to charge for it. The Tow company also needs to prove the parking violation committed, this is the law, they are required to take a picture of how you violated the paring rules. If they didnt, then its illegal towing. Just some legal insight since I see a tow truck prowling around our complex here too every so often looing for prey.
Oregonians will work to outlaw patrol towing AKA PPI. In WA and CA, this practice is already outlawed. In addition, cap on towing fees. What is being charged is unreasonable.
