I had a severe episode of flashes of light in my right eye in the middle of the night. I went to see dr Gallemore the following day because the staff told me I could have a retinal detachment and that it was urgent that i come in. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. It turned out I was fine, but that I had something called a "PVD" and Dr Gallemore was able to draw a diagram to explain what was happening in the back of my eye. Dr Gallemore is a brilliant doctor. I have never met a more knowledgeable and charming physician. He explained my diagnosis very throughly and gave me all my options for treatment. His bedside manner is second to none and I felt very comfortable in his care. It turned out I had the start of what would potentially be a retinal detachment but turned out to be several small tears. I started seeing flashes and floaters one night and my eye doctor told me to go see Dr Gallemore because it could be something very serious. It turns out I had the beginning of what could have been a complete retinal detachment. Thanks to the dr and his staff I was diagnosed and treated all in the same visit. I am so grateful to him and his amazing staff! I recommend him to everyone I know
Dr Gallemore is my hero! I was almost blind when I was referred to him and he told me he was determined that I would see again. He performed surgery on my eyes and treated me like a member of his own family. I went from legally blind because of my glaucoma and macular edema to finally being able to watch tv again. He never gave up on me and I can honestly say he saved my sight, and my life.
Dr. Gallemore is the best doctor in the world
In all my life I have never been impressed as much as I have been with Dr. Taban and the front and back office in Los Angeles!!!! I can only give 5 stars but they deserve so much more than that. My husband has chronic kidney disease stage 5, diabetes, and he couldn't see out of one eye for three months and the other eye was headed in the same direction and he's only 42 years old.
