Probably the most underrated restaurant in Detroit. The service was out-of-this-world incredible and the food was top notch. If you want to be impressed or to impress someone, Republic is the place to be. I will go back without a doubt. Jess the server, ask for her.
The building is beautiful and the wine and cannoli's were amazing but I felt there weren't any simple choices on the menu....everything seemed to be over thought. An upscale burger would be a nice option.
Second time visiting and was not disappointed! The service is always wonderful and the description of the menu is great.
The Republic puts casual dining on a whole new level of totally awesome. Try it, you'll be glad you did.

We visited Republic for the first time last night! Chefs tasting menu was amazing! It rivals menus we have had in Chicago, New York, LA and Europe! The personalized service was a real treat! Taylor made this already great experience even more special! We will be back for sure! Nice job Detroit!
The food was amazing! Dessert was okay, but everything else was outstanding. Too loud to hear people at your table though.
My friends and I enjoyed our evening out. Our waiter, Jake, was fantastic. He was very helpful and patient with our group. The food was simply amazing. We were delighted with every dish that came to the table. We will definitely be back. A truly delightful evening.
Yesterday, I finally got to check out Republic. Perhaps it was the excellent company and conversation, but the service, recommendations, and fixin's will keep me coming for more. A short walk from home, I'll be back again and again. Thanks for a great experience! See you soon.
