What an awesome, decadent and unique dining experience! I highly recommend the chef chosen tasting...it let's you experience food you wouldn't have tasted otherwise. I will say parking is a bit of a bear, but the ambience, food, and service more then make up for it!
First, I love the location. The Grand Army of the Republic (aka GAR Building) was vacant for eternity and now houses 2 places I like to eat: Republic; and Parks & Rec. We started with the Duck Liver Mousse which was really good. For the entree my wife had Beef Tenderloin and I had the Smoked Trout. The granola with the tenderloin was incredible because it had bacon in it and the smoked trout came with an array of unique vegetables (don't ask me to name a single one of them, but I like them all).

I love everything about this place the food is creative and interesting as are the cocktails and wine list. Seating is comfortable and spacious but most of all the people who work there seem happy and are very accommodating and courteous. The first time we went there we were not familiar with the small plates concept but our waiter was patient with our questions about the menu and serving procedure , he made us feel welcome.
