Best meal I've had this side of Vegas. Every dish was perfectly executed. Our waiter, Jason, knew the menu inside and out and offered unprecedented service. By the end of the meal I felt a strong urge to head back to the kitchen and give the chef a big hug. We will be back.

Four of us enjoyed hot and spicy duck wings, a stunning ploughman's platter, a burger the size of a small watermelon, and the extraordinary, in-freaking-believe-able Bone Marrow fritters with lamb bacon jam. MEAT DONUTS. Service and drinks were groovy.
Fantastic dining experience- delicious small plates adventure, enthusiastic staff, and eclectic crowd mix. Republic is a great addition to Detroit.
My exact words during our meal of Ploughman's Platter and Bone Marrow Fritters? Everything is awesome! The shrimp butter and rutabag mustardo should both be jarred/sold.
Fantastic dinner! Unique and distinctive menu full of flavor. Great bar with top Michigan microbrews on tap and terrific selection of distilled bevies!
