Extremely shady business practices. Its sad, Ive been a long time customer with them and I always pay my items off, even when Im not happy with them- Im wondering why Ive bothered with the loyalty when they definitely dont reward it. 1st, they delivered a fireplace entertainment center that was supposed to be brand new but the door was ripped off- they jerked me around about it for over a year while every staff member who had looked at it said it would have to be straight up replaced because it couldnt be fixed- finally afte... read more

This location duped me into giving them a $100 deposit promising me it was refundable no matter what. So I cancel my order 15 mins later and they have kept my money. Been calling for weeks everyone just says oh sorry I dont know why you didnt get it back. Total scam operation do not do business with these people or any rent a center.

On 11/ 16/ 23 I placed an order for a TV online from rent a center in ********, *********. I paid my week like their web page promised, which was supposed to cover the first week. I signed up for monthly payments. During my order I had the opportunity to click if I would like any of their damage or liability waiver insurance for an extra monthly cost, I clicked no. I am so over this company I have been a customer with ******************** for a long time. The fact that the manager of this store thought that it was okay to tell me to my face that Im on auto pay which IM NOT. Which was verified by one of the workers that I have never been. When the manager of the store looked it up she found a number not associated with me at all. Manger and assistant manager customer service is very poor. I rented from them a year ago and had a special order that was supposed to take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. It end up being 3 months and no phone calls no nothing. I requested my money back and they didnt want to give it back to me so I had to call corporate. I moved and now Im looking for a sofa that they have in the store and the assistant manager is telling me that Im not allowed to get any promotions. They are unprofessional and Constantly are calling me 4 to 5 times a day from the date of when my bill is due at 8am and I haven't even logged in to pay my bill so I didnt and they obviously still get paid but it's harassment at this point and I get they want their **** money but you don't need to call a customer who literally owes 1 payment 100 times a week when the customer works and then they wonder why I don't answer nor give them their money right away I MAKE THEM WAIT!!! Ive reported to the store that my mattress has bed bugs and was told that it did not come from their store. The store manager was very rude and was telling me that it did not come from her store. The district manager still hasnt reached out to me after two days of me complaining of a matter this urgent.

This company are complete scam artists and the most rude and unprofessional customer service I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They lied to get the agreement signed and then lied when confronted on those lies. I was advised that I could make additional payments on top of my monthly payments by simply signing on to their website. Every month I called because the website always said there was an error when attempting to do this.
