My husband and I stayed at the Renaissance last night and the people that work there from the check-in, room service, house keeping, bar tender, and valet were lovely people who made us feel like they were there only to make us happy. We are planning our next weekend away to see a new show at The Place Theatre, which was a really short walk from the hotel entrance. The food in the restaurant was delicious and worth the money! One of the best hotels I've ever been. Clean room and nice ambiance.
It's Downtown, Convenient, Close to the Columbus Convention Center for the Arnolds (15min walk). Rooms were nice and service was decent. Glass Shower door kept opening during my shower and there wasn't more than one trash bin there. No complimentary tooth paste or tooth brush was disappointing. Overall good experience and saved on cab rides to the Arnolds and back if I stayed in a hotel further away....and we saw Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Lobby when we checked in!
Excellent service all around. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely will be back.
