Started as a nightmare ended like a dream. These guys were re-doing the roads near my house with new tarmac and while I was driving by, a lot of tarmac was accidentally sprayed on the bonnet wing mirrors and windshield of my brand new £ 90,000 Audi Q7. Very pleased with the work done it was a shame that we were the only people to have a mess in the driveway after some old gent decided to go under the tape and shuffle through the wet product for about 8 metres causing a huge mess but we are always the unlucky ones 😩
Workmen are terrible - they, according to the council were paid to notify people of the works they were carrying out and yet told nobody and then tarmaced around cars and blocked driveways ... And are the rudest people I have ever had the displeasure to meet...
Horrific job. Our newly re surfaced road has tyre marks imprinted in it and spread across driveways. More Tarmac stuck to residents cars and tyres than the road. More holes and bumps in it than before they re surfaced it. Shockingly awful.
I contacted one of your colleagues today. After receiving notice that our footpath was due maintenance in the next few days, I was in a blind panic as Friday is the start of a family wedding, and I’m storing most of the wedding decor in my house.
