The customer service at Pottery Barn Kids in Tampa is terrible. I went in there this morning with my family to purchase an item that was on sale in store only. There were 3 if not 4 people working the floor yet none of them asked if I needed assistance. This review pertains solely to Williams Sonoma's shipping. I ordered some towels on December 3, but it was not even shipped until December 6. That date was changed again, but I was finally given a date of December 12 with a time window. Now I learn that there was a delay and that the delivery will be December 13 or 14. I live in a city and do not have a secure drop-off place at my place, so I normally arrange to have the few packages I order dropped off at a UPS for pickup. DO NOT ORDER FROM MARK AND GRAHAM. Beautiful stuff but if you have a problem, good luck. They screwed up my order from the get-go - simple request - ship 60 of the item to an address. For some reason, I got 2 in one shipment and 1 in the shipment that was supposed to contain 57 of the item. First screw up. This company has over and over disappointed my whole customer service experience. I ordered a table and chair for my children and received it at my billing address instead of my shipping address. They refuse to reroute the order. I was on the phone with them for 2 days with hours of phone time and unprofessional associates who never let me talk to a supervisor. I had an issue with a local store manager giving me incorrect information and as a result, created a deceptive business transaction. The store is located in Princeton, NJ. After discovering the issue, I called the corporate location to speak to the executive consumer office. A fiasco from start to finish dealing with this company. A chair arrived broken (i.e. with the wood splintered in half down the middle.) . They've told me three different dates the replacement will be arriving but all have come and gone Now, almost four months later with one member of family standing through every meal, I've given up. Stock analysts take note: Williams Sonoma has a fulfillment and customer service issue and at least one formally loyal customer is heading to *******.
I placed the order and realized that I did not apply the promotion # to the order. Called the customer service immidiately and they said they cannot apply the promotion nor they can calncell the order. If I could leave ZERO stars it would be too many. These people are completely fraudulent. Their business practices are outdated and they refuse to help when something goes wrong. I ordered a kitchen set for my daughter from PBK online and paid with a discover card. They first charged my card the entire amount of the purchase. Then a second slightly less amount was charged.
