I'm very sorry to have to continue this story of terrible customer service, but West Elm has been absolutely atrocious. I order a bed online last year (along with other bedroom furniture), and 6 months later the legs on the bed are loose. We have some one assigned by West Elm come look at them, and they say the legs are defective and not repairable. We return the bed, and proceed to wait 2 months for a refund on the bed, which cost us over $1500. I am still waiting for a refund, and called customer service 4 times before the... read more

The pluses. Nice delivery people and customer service **************** else was horrible. Placed order late November via phone & applied for charge card - choose REWARDS option (vs deferred monthly payments). Paid order in full the day I received 1st ****. Weeks passed, furniture lost in transit for 6 weeks. Delivery dates kept changing. Hours and hours of phone calls & transferred multiple times. I ordered the Square Stitch and Quilt Sham in Aqua from PBK and the very first time I washed it the color blotched out in some areas. Now every single time I wash it (in cold water with safe detergent) it blotched even more. It looks like it was tyedyed a light and dark Aqua. It's horrible. ALL my linens in my house are from PB and this is the first time this has happened. I contacted their customer support and pretty much got a "sorry that's too bad" email back. We purchased a couch during their labor day furniture sale. After 4 delivery attempts we finally received our new (dirty) couch from West Elm. In the 10+ attempts working with customer service we were made promises by their customer service representatives that we would be able to exchange the couch with a different fabric AND receive compensation for all of the frustration we went through. Decided to go with PBK for our first crib and all I can say is, regret. We placed the order on Jan 2nd with an estimated delivery date of Jan ***** (Spoiler, we didnt get it by then). I have been a long time customer of West Elm. We purchased a couch at the Fairfax VA West Elm location in August 2020. The couch arrived within the shared time frame but upon delivery the personell delivering it broke one of the legs so we had no choice but to send it back. In Sept 2020 the replacement order was submitted and we were told we would be receiving it at the end of Oct. No order received after 9 weeks. No help from customer service which told me they have reached out to their vendors twice with no reply on one of the beds I ordered. The other bed I was told was waiting for the rails to come in. Will not be ordering from this site again.

Absolutely do not order from here. They didn't even show up to my delivery with all my furniture and couldn't find my dresser. Now 20 days later, the issue is still not resolved, I have no clue when I am getting my babies dresser and I am out $800. No one in their customer service department has been helpful and keep tossing me between agents. They also never call when they say they are going to call back with an update. Horrible horrible horrible experience.

I ordered a dining room set in August 2020, because we were hosting the holidays in December and needed a better set up. It includes a table, bench and two chairs. The chairs arrived in November, 2020. The table and bench are still delayed and we are into the late stages of January 2021. Every month we receive a new delay notice and I’m starting to feel like we won’t receive it in time for Christmas 2021. Right now it appears to be scheduled for late February/early March.
