Prepare to pet, feed and photograph both adult and baby reindeer at Anchorage's fascinating Reindeer Farm. Gentle and tame, these "deer" are accustomed to visitors and are very friendly. Owner Tom Williams actually grew up on this beautiful farm and transformed it from a dairy farm to a reindeer wonderland in the late 1980s. Today, visitors can also marvel at elk and bison, and can go on a horseback ride up up the nearby Butte.

RecommendedThey do such a great job every year for the Farm Fall Family Fun festival they put on. They are also great for day trips as well; you can't go wrong with reindeer, a bison, a buffalo (?) and pigs/bunnies/chickens. Highly recommend!
The reindeer farm is great. You can feed the reindeer and touch them. They come right up to you. The guides are very informative and very helpful and nice! We saw reindeer, a moose, buffalo and more.....we had so much fun a very unique experience. Bring boots or shoes that you can get muddy because sometimes it’s muddy and tho they do have some boots to borrow the sizes are limited. A great unique family experience.
A wonderful experience for ourselves and our granddaughter. We loved the wagon ride, pony ride, and meeting all of the animals. We bought our tickets online to save a few dollars. Definitely worth the money.
Great place for kids!
A lot more this year, the grand kids had a blast!! Now time to carve the pumpkins!!
The Owners and staff are amazing and friendly. We always have a great time and the farm and can't wait to go back again!
How can you not love a place with reindeer, reindeer calves & a moose calf now & again.
Very fun family friendly place. Good for the young and old.
