Prepare to pet, feed and photograph both adult and baby reindeer at Anchorage's fascinating Reindeer Farm. Gentle and tame, these "deer" are accustomed to visitors and are very friendly. Owner Tom Williams actually grew up on this beautiful farm and transformed it from a dairy farm to a reindeer wonderland in the late 1980s. Today, visitors can also marvel at elk and bison, and can go on a horseback ride up up the nearby Butte.

Don't miss coming here in the winter! The snowy landscape is so dramatic, and it's nice to visit with the animals without the larger crowds you get in the summer. ❤️

I love this place!!! several different kinds of animals to pet. souvenirs to buy and the owners and family are such down-to-earth friendly, upbeat people! feeding the reindeer was my favorite!

Although we have older kids they had a great time. It's definitely an experience that can have a magical Christmas back for the little ones.
