Prepare to pet, feed and photograph both adult and baby reindeer at Anchorage's fascinating Reindeer Farm. Gentle and tame, these "deer" are accustomed to visitors and are very friendly. Owner Tom Williams actually grew up on this beautiful farm and transformed it from a dairy farm to a reindeer wonderland in the late 1980s. Today, visitors can also marvel at elk and bison, and can go on a horseback ride up up the nearby Butte.

Wonderful trip last week. The kids loved learning about all the animals. There were several for petting and feeding. Our guide was very helpful and informative.
Jenny our tour guide was very good.
The staff at the reindeer farm are knowledgeable and fun, as were the other guests. We all had a great time feeding the reindeer ( inside the fence with them,) 'kissing' the moose, and petting the bison. Very memorable visit.
So much interesting information and great guide! Not just for kids... my husband and I had a great time and loved that we were able to actually interact with the animals.
