Prepare to pet, feed and photograph both adult and baby reindeer at Anchorage's fascinating Reindeer Farm. Gentle and tame, these "deer" are accustomed to visitors and are very friendly. Owner Tom Williams actually grew up on this beautiful farm and transformed it from a dairy farm to a reindeer wonderland in the late 1980s. Today, visitors can also marvel at elk and bison, and can go on a horseback ride up up the nearby Butte.

Such an amazing experience. Once in a life time kissing a moose and feeding the reindeer that close and personal. Highly recommend! Our tour guid (older gentleman) was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy.

A lot of fun, especially for young ones. Reindeer up close. Also saw Moose, bison and yak. The elk was too far away to see today.

Highly recommend our visit was so great we went twice on our trip to Alaska. Kissing a bull moose and feeding reindeer was great. I highly recommend a visit here as staff were very nice and super friendly.
This delightful place was my favorite part of a week vacation to Alaska. Loved the reindeer & moose so much we went back to visit again on the last day of our trip. Staff was kind & the farm was very inviting. If I’m ever in Alaska again, this will be at the top of the list of things to do.
This place is great! A very friendly family farm where all the animals have names and are well loved, set against a backdrop of beautiful Alaskan scenery. My kids (ages 3 and 1) had a blast, and so did my husband and I! So much more than reindeer! I have a pic of my baby feeding a moose and petting a bison. Can’t beat it!
