I started my account with Regions in 2013, initially Checking, Savings, and a line of Credit. In 2017, I moved banks, but kept my Regions credit card and kept making on-time payments (I have never made a late payment on any credit card before). Two months ago, Regions' website started giving me an error when I tried to pay my card down from my savings account at the other bank. This is the same account I use to pay ALL of my credit cards, and have used it to pay this particular card for the five years since I switched banks.... read more

Mind you what I am about to say comes from a customer of more than 15 years, but I have learned loyalty means nothing to the company. Unfortunately, I do NOT recommend banking with Regions. The conveniences and services is great but when it comes to issues don't expect much. I had someone send me a bad check that I had deposited (unknowing that it was bad). Please take note, Regions put a hold on the check IMMIDIATELY and the funds were never made available to me as they confirmed the legitimacy of the check. I understood th... read more

Pleasant staff, they made changes I required easily. The whole process was seamless and most importantly, my construction loan was received quickly, paperwork is straightforward. I would highly recommend.

Regions Mortgage flat out refuses to remove Escrow account with absolutely no reason in written response. I am going to refinance ASAP. The customer service tells you one thing and the PMI and Escrow departments do something else.

One Star is too high. This company refuses to show your balance or payment history. I have contacted them via the customer portal and over the phone. Each time they refuse to give a balance sheet. This is a fraudulent company with bad intensions. Do all you can to never deal with them.

Regions Bank personnel are readily accessible if you want to open new acct, pay a bill, but to get a problem resolved, I am on hold for 20 minutes. Their fraud dept called me 3 weeks go with possible fraud chg; they cx my Regions C card and were to send new one with new # in 7-10 days; over 2 weeks alter, no card rec'd; called Regions and they said card was cx but issued new card with SAME # which was to be cancelled since is was hacked; and no info in Regions system showed mailing new card; so Regions cancelled card again a... read more

I have experienced the worst customer service at Regions Bank located on 7 South Vandeventer. I deposited a large check and was given a printout of dates that the funds would become available. I tried to withdraw funds on the first date on the agreement page given to me by the bank teller and was told I couldn't make the withdrawal. Apparently, the Fraudulent Department placed an additional hold on the check without given me proper notice. They should tell you that they are basically a title loan. They give you no information about your loan they do not tell you that when you take a loan and you agree to a certain amount the gains interest every month on top of what your paying. they set up the payment options to best suit them And the interest it gains. SCAM ARTIST!! Do not do a loan through them. Better options through a bank or credit union. They talk a good game till you call them out.
