Horrible experience with the Mortgage Banking Division in Shreveport, LA. Mortgage Officer was super helpful at first then out of the office multiple times after that. Unless you have a signed contract to give them on a house they are not interested in working with you on pre-approval even for someone who is outstanding credit. Escalated three times to the Head of the Mortgage Production Group and she never responded. Stay away from Regions Mortgage.

I hate this bank. They charge you for everything. I have over draft protection and still over draft? Then they don’t refund the fee? I will be leaving as soon as possible. Spent 55 minutes waiting for a representative, she was rude, and would not even help me. How is it that if you have no money, they charge you money for having no money? In this economy? A joke.

Zero transparency. Mobile app rarely works & when logging in from a desktop their website is rinky-dink. You cannot see any information regarding: outstanding balance, interest rate or payoff amounts. If you get paper bills this is included so why not online. All of this forces you to try to get a hold of them during their limited business hours which are only Monday through Friday. All of which leads to delays payments and late charges. I went to regions to report fraudulent activity on my credit card. I was upfront and told them I did not have my license on me and they said no problem we can cut the card off. Withholding the information that I would not have access to my funds. They then proceeded to tell me I couldn’t get a new card until 9 am the next day. I explained the situation to a “manager” who told me he could give me $** from my account but that’s all. Very Disappointed customer with Regions Bank Fraud Investigation. My debit card was fraudulently used while I was in another state. The card was physically with me during this time, a report was made to Regions Bank Immediately and they completed an investigation in 5 days and denied my case. They never reached out to me about the fraud, 3 transactions were made back to back in a location I have never been. I have used EnerBank a few times to make renovations or significant purchases for my home. They’ve been easy to work with, readily available and proactive in monitoring the progress of ongoing work. Customers need to understand the repayment timing and details to obtain the benefit of the EnerBank approach.
