Specialties Refuge is America's first co-ed outdoor relaxation spa and an award-winning hydrothermal facility located in Carmel, California. Our serene and silent 2-acre property features a Himalayan salt wall sauna, eucalyptus steam rooms, cold plunge pools, hot pools with waterfalls, and breathtaking views. You must be 18 years or older to visit. Swimsuits are required. Daily Hours: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm PST. Last entry is 8:30 pm PST.

Great way to relax! Pools of varying temperatures, a dry sauna, steam and relaxation rooms. Very nice place!

Awesome place to relax and get some water spa time! Cold, super cold, warm, warmer pools, sauna, steam, fire pits.... go there in the evening!
Super friendly staff and clean facilities! This one of a kind spa includes steam rooms, various whirlpools, fire pits, relaxation rooms, and a large sauna. My husband and I were able to enjoy it together as it is also co-ed. Loved it!
Amazing eucalyptus massage with zen relaxation.
I have been going here for years and it is always incredible. A vacation for a day and so spiritually fulfilling! My massages with Jerry are always out of this world! I bring friends here whenever I can and come at least once a month!
