Tonight was the first time here for my sister, brother-in-law and myself. The service was outstanding, absolutely the best! Our food was cooked to perfection and the bottomless steak fries were so good! The drinks were so GOOD! Our food server was so very pleasant and top of the line server! I can hardly wait to take more of my family so they can enjoy the same wonderful experience! So pleased :-D

Just visited your location. Came in and was told we were not able to sit at the bar because the kitchen was backed up. I understand the kitchen being backed up because I am in the industry, but I am not allowed to sit at the bar? Went to the restroom, and my toilet paper was sitting on the baby changing table.... we were sat within 10 minutes which is fine. Don't mind waiting. Our food was cold but our server Josh was great. Red Robin in Plainfield never disappoints! We went there tonight and got awesome service and great food! Josh was our server and he was excellent! I definitely will ask for him next time :)
The food was delicious! The service was terrible! Our waitress did not check on us at all! She walked by us a thousand times in which didn't make eye contact or even look our Way! We all needed drink refills and didn't even have silverware to eat With! After watjnh we sat and waited another 30 mins to finally be asked if we were doing ok!! Well really extremely thirsty and completely done with our food but thanks for asking 2 hours later!!
The last time I was there I got fish and fries. There was so much oil on the fish I had wrap in a napkin to sock it up
the bread from the grilled cheese was a might chewy and my son did not get his free rental with our carryout meals. the mgr was friendly though
