It was the first time I ever went there,I liked the food had the prime rib sandwich but I'm not sure if I would go back cause of the server nice guy but he only came back just when we got our food we never got offer anymore fries or drink and they weren't busy.
The service was terrible ,the food was ok nothing to go back for.
Our server was nice, however whom ever the hostesses were, the people who make your businesses first impression, were terrible. I asked for a table for 7 one hostess then walked away and we all stood there w nothing being told to us. Then i said are we getting a table? The girl then said yeah they are puttinf it together. We got seated were eating I then went to the hostess station and asked if they could tell our server it was mt fathers birthday, i got a blank stare and an uhhh, then one said yes. Food and service was mediocre. I ordered the grilled cheese. It was cold when they brought it to the table. My friend ordered a chicken salad with an extra chicken breast. One chicken breast was cold the other was hard as a rock. Now they did refund the salad on the bill and get her a new salad however we had already been waiting for our food for about 45 minutes when we got our food we had to wait another half an hour for her new salad. Tonight wasn't the first time I've been to this Red Robin and it definitely won't be the last! In the time we were there were saw 4 different tables celebrating their birthdays and a group of 20 who shared a server with my table. My kids were playing on the chalk boards they offer along with the children's menu and next thing know the manager is coming over apologizing for the long wait! Very inconsistent food and ridiculous management!!
Check out is now on a tablet on the table and we were charged some entertainment fee??? No idea wth that was for. Service was slow. Burger was undercooked. Oh well. Just another place to cross of my list.
Decent place to eat in Madison. Not a lot of choices there.
