Eclectic Menu Red Pony has a large, eclectic menu. The food is very good and the atmosphere is even better. Great cocktails, too! The art displayed on the walls is interesting and I believe by local artists. Fun place.
Great Steaks My brother took me here when I was down visiting. We both ordered the Strip Steak. They were very good. The restaurant is for nicely decorated. The price of the steak was a little high. It was a good thing it was my birthday. I am not sure if I would order it again, just because of the price.
Very Pricey but Very Good My husband and I ate here shortly after it opened. It was a rare night that we were able to get out without the kids and thought we would check out some place in downtown Franklin. We were going to try Sol, but it was closed. We didn't know that reservations were suggested (needed) for the Red Pony. The only place they had available was at the "community table" - basically a big table with 15 or so seats around it. Great food, great atmosphere, but pricey Shared a great meal here with my wife. Outstanding service. We shared a larger table with several other couples - gave a chance to talk some with them, but we still had our privacy when we wanted it. Food was great - just a bit on the pricey side.
RecommendedEverything was fantastic- food, service, everything. We'll definitely be back again. Wonderful evening.
