RecommendedThe food is always exceptional at the Red Pony. We have had many appetizers, soup,salads, and entrees. It is consistently delicious.
We had the deviled lobster dip, the fresh guacamole, the fried oysters, Greek salad, beef tenderloin, and creme brûlée. All was absolutely fantastic. I also had a coffee with dessert and it was not like most restaurant coffees. It was (I believe) French pressed to order, accompanied with heavy cream and raw sugars. Delicious wine and ambiance as well. Highly recommend! Oh, can’t forget the servers—so pleasant and accommodating.

Nothing bad to say great food service drinks and atmosphere
Cocktails and great wine list. Beef tartare appetizer was tasty. Tenderloin, risotto and asparagus fork tender and perfectly seasoned. Sonny had a to-die-for brownie and ice cream for dessert; I had a glass of Argentinian Malbec. Service was impeccable, as usual. They made sure to have us out in time for the Theatre. Red Pony has been great for the entire time it has been open and I have been dining there.
The food was fabulous, however, we had an incredibly pushy server and felt rushed the entire meal. He came to our table at least 15 times during our hour long visit and at one point asked if he could remove our dishes while I was visibly still chewing. It was a bit of a letdown as we were hoping to stay and enjoy our date night in a leisurely way. We were so put off that instead of ordering another drink/dessert we left to go to another restaurant.
