Stayed at Dunes of Panama Unit 2002E. I would advise against anyone booking this unit, as I DID NOT have access to the balcony. There were boards on the doors from the outside..I assume due to an inspection issue or something. RealJoy literally called me on the day of my booking an hour before check in about the balcony being closed! What a way to ruin my Birthday vacation. Wish I could rate with no stars! This is a horrible company! More like “No Joy Vacations.” My family and I rented a property managed by Real Joy Vacations for a small family reunion at 121 Moonlight Dr in Panama City FL this past weekend. As soon as we arrived the kitchen sink was clogged and the dishwasher pushed sewer (brown water) into the sink which caused it to overflow all over the kitchen floor and dining room floor. Lesson learned! If working through a company for your vacation stay....DO NOT use RealJoy Vacations. Trust me.....it was NOT a joy at all! In May 2023, I stayed in a unit at Mainsail in Destin and it was wonderful! And, we rented from an owner. Big difference! Once I returned from my girls trip in May, I booked a unit in the same building for our family of 6 but the one I previously stayed in was not available. A group of 11 of us arrived on Saturday afternoon at 4:30 pm to Hidden Dunes 601. At around 8:30 pm after just arriving 4 hours prior, we received a knock on our door from 2 of the front desk girls. They said to pack our bags because we are being evicted immediatly. The owner saw my husband on the ring doorbell with a cigar in his mouth. The owner was watching our every move since arriving. BEWARE!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! I booked a condo for Spring Break, I paid it up front, they gave me a confirmation number. This was 3 weeks from my stay. They kept sending emails about their place, what to bring etc.. Then, ONE DAY before my trip they send an email saying that my condo was not available. They sent some alternate options that were nothing like what I had. Not even in the same beach! Loved our experience with RealJoy Vacations. We stayed at #bestvacationever in Destin this past week. Our unit was exceptionally clean when we arrived and being able to get a door & gate code via their website made life easy for check-in. No standing in long lines after an 8 hour drive. We only ran into one issue with the house and RealJoy Vacations responded quickly and addressed the issue in a timely manner. Stayed at Gulfview II cleaning crew stole over $1000.00 from my purse while I was at pool Description of property very deceptive old dated not very well maintained. No view unless you like looking at trees. Further than 250 ft from beach. Make sure you read all of the description of property. Would not ever use Realjoy again!
