-5 stars. Roach infestation from day 1, which ended up being our problem to deal with. Oven has been broken for 3 weeks! They have no care for their tenants. They make my old company, which was not good, look like saints! Never ever rent from them!
Benchmark is, by far, the worst company I have ever dealt with. After living in my unit for a few days, I developed an uncontrollable cough due to mold exposure. When I expressed my concerns to Benchmark's staff through several emails and phone calls, they thought it would be best to completely ignore me. They kept telling me that my property manager was not available and that he would get back to me. RecommendedI have been with Benchmark for 2 1/2 years and I must say they are the best Real Estate services ever! Ive been going through a really bad divorce and they have helped me in every way possible making sure I have a place to call home! There is without a doubt no other real estate service better than them! You must work with Benchmark! The management is awesome and they are always on top of things! Current resident with on going leaks in my downstairs and in a bedroom closet. Slow to get this or any request completed. Also, heat doesn't work as listed in a request as well and hasn't been addressed yet either.
Warning all of Tallahassee to steer clear of Benchmark Real Estate!!!!!
The worst property company to rent from. They take their time to fix problems with the property. Lie to you and try to dodge you when you need things done. Don’t even try to call the office and leave a message because they don’t return calls.
This company from the front desk to management is Tallahassee’s TRASH at its finest. How insensitive and unprofessional of you to charge your residents for not mowing the lawn after a natural disaster. They never removed the trees and had the AUDACITY to charge a fee they provided. I’ve never been treated so poorly but “A” and the rest of the management is extremely racist. Any POC I would not recommend signing on with them I would have rather paid to live in the homeless shelter. They have F rating on the BB for a reason!
Worst experience of my life. The pictures show the condition of the apartment when I moved in since then I’ve experienced mold , electrical issues and things just breaking ! I am breaking my lease just to get away 🏃... don’t do it!!!!
