I took delivery of my third order of 40 bags of sharp sand and a sack of aggregate, delivered by Jakub (correctly spelt) via Wickes' Cricklewood branch. Unfortunately, upon arrival, Jakub was surly and unhelpful, excelling only in being a nightmare Jobsworth who seemed pained to do his job. Jakub, initially, sat like a Buddah on my brick wall, morosely citing 'health and safety' as a reason to justify not even attempting to deposit the bags of sand and aggregate between and over two parked cars on my side of the road.
