Very happy with my experience with Dr. Rubinfeld. Would not hesitate to recommend or go with again. Very patiently answered all of my questions. Made me feel very comfortable with the procedure and now, less than 24 hours since I had LASIK, I am seeing 20/20 without corrective lenses for the first time in close to thirty years. I just want to give a big shout out to Dr.Roy Rubinfeld and his whole staff..our son had CK and the next day corneal cross linking both with success..not only does Dr. Rubinfeld feel he can arrest the keratoconus and restore some vision as well...a great experience from the time we walked in the office...I would highly recommend Dr. Roy Rubinfeld......
We cannot thank Dr. Rubenfeld enough for saving our son's vision. We are beyond grateful for Dr. Rubenfeld s expertise, and dedication to Keratoconus research. Just thinking about what he has done for our son brings tears of joy. His team, Dr. Kim, Mike, and Stephanie, have also been incredible in making this journey less scary. RecommendedHello Dr. Rubinfeld!! I was very fortunate to have you do my lasik on May 5, 1999. My eyes are still in excellent condition. As a law enforcement officer I had perfect vision and I can still see the bad guys! The only thing I did not like was when I was in your office was the fact I had to wear that little ugly plastic cap and sit in the corner so nobody could see the funny little guy!! ha ha! I had a great experience with the Dr Roy, and his team! They did an excellent job, and I'd certainly recommend him.
My story is a huge lesson in getting second opinions. After my followup appointment with Dr. Rubinfeld, I got in the car, called my sister and we both cried. I traveled halfway across the country to be treated for Keratoconus. Dr. Rubinfeld was concerned with not just stopping its progression, but also restoring some of the vision I'd lost.
