I made multiple attempts to make an appointment and never got a call back. I would recommend Capital Area Spay & Neuter.
I took my dog there last night.i was told that I couldn't have her seen because I didn't have 65 dollars.i call my vet I told him what was going on I have an appointment for 9am
I would not recomment Rascals Animal Hospital as we had to put our furr baby to sleep and they wanted to charge us $200 extra to be with him while they put him to sleep. They said that they had to use extra equipment to do the process if we wanted to be with him....we will never go there again!
If this would let me I would give them half a star. Took my dog here for open wounds and they looked at him for 5 min. when we got there and since he was "stable" they would see him soon. 3 HOURS LATER I'm finally called back to a room AFTER my wife went to the counter to ask when we would be seen. After being called back they asked me why we were there?!?! They are more worried about his limp than crusted blood on his head. Everyone here was amazing. Dealing with the hardest situation I have ever had to deal with, they were kind and caring and absolutely wonderful to us and our dog.
Stay away. You will be surprised that most vets are just as cheap if not cheaper than this place. If an emergency go to Med Vets or OSU. I had a horrid experience there. I should have followed my gut instinct and walked away when I 1st walked in on a Sunday night. By the way my vet was so much cheaper on the surgery that needed done by thousands. Find a vet that you trust before getting a pet. If an emergency like I stated earlier Med Vets or OSU for stabilization until your vet is available. I still have nightmares of that ... read more

Thank you so much for making a very hard thing to do easier to cope with. Everyone there was so nice and sweet to us and to my Harley boy. They walked us through everything and was so gentle with him until the very end.
Misdiagnosed a blown vertebrae in my dogs back. Lost precious time in getting it repaired. He still can't walk and the time lost could have made all the difference.
