We smoke some of the best barbecue on the planet--pulled pork, baby back ribs, smoked steak, and smoked chicken. We make our own marinade, rub, and barbecue sauce, and we smoke with hickory cut right here on our mountain. Our Friday barbecue dinners have mountain music, bonfire, and storytelling. 5 stars does not even do justice!! This place is so neat and so much to do! The place is so secluded and safe. I never worried about the kids when they would go down to feed the animals or interact with them. If you do not like the country or farms then this is not the place for you. However, if you can handle the outdoors and animals normal farm stuff then you'll love this place! These people are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
Place is out there in the holler , but the accommodations rustic in appearance they are up to date , very nice people , beautiful surroundings , just be prepared for Unpaved roads.
Wonderful place - wish we could have stayed longer! Friendly staff and animals, beautiful farm and cabins, peaceful. So glad we were able to experience this place!
We visited back in July and it was amazing! My children absolutely loved it. It was by far our best and most relaxing family vacation. My children loved the horse back riding and most of all the dogs. They are begging to go back and can't wait.
We stayed at Randall Glen last week and I wish we never had to leave. Mary and the staff were absolutely amazing! We had so much fun wandering the property and interacting with the animals. We will definitely be coming back year after year! Also, make sure you try the pulled pork nachos, they are out of this world! Thanks for a fantastic vacation!
My family & I had a great time at Randall Glen! From the beautiful surroundings to the staff to the animals to the beautiful cabin, everything was fantastic! Our 7 yr old son asked us all what our favorite part was; my husband said no ringing phone (great to disconnect), our 15 yr old daughter said the piglets, kittens, & gem mining (she found some cool ones), & our son and I said, the same thing, the DOGS. Ellie-May will always have a spot in our hearts. We look forward to returning sometime soon!!!
Great place to stay, friendly people, fun activities and amazing guardian dogs! I recommend this to anyone who would like to have a farming vacation or just wants to escape the modern world for a while. Great for family reunions as well!
