We smoke some of the best barbecue on the planet--pulled pork, baby back ribs, smoked steak, and smoked chicken. We make our own marinade, rub, and barbecue sauce, and we smoke with hickory cut right here on our mountain. Our Friday barbecue dinners have mountain music, bonfire, and storytelling. My family and I stayed here in July 2015 for 3 or 4 days and absolutely LOVED it. Yes people, it is a working farm and therefore there is excrement on the parts of the property the animals hang out at. *shocking* I know. Our cabin was clean and very comfortable, the hiking trails were a blast, and the atmosphere of the whole place was wonderful. Awesome experience, everyone needs to visit Randall Glenn! Michael took me up the mountain. (It's at the end of a one lane gravel road, takes you back in time.) This is a true living farm, that is absolutely magical. The location is breathtakingly beautiful. The owner Mary is absolutely the kindest, & most generous woman. I got the mother lode to go. We had an amazing stay. My son and I loved our time at Randall Glen. We will definitely return again, but for longer next time. The staff is full of kind and helpful people. The cabin was immaculate and fully equipped with everything from a coffee maker to a dishwasher. The farm animals were fantastic, friendly, and very well cared for. This place is filthy. It's listed as a "resort" on the website. This place is far, far, far from being a resort. The beds were lumpy at best and looked like an animal had been laying in them. The "luxury amenities" were far from luxury. The broken down LazyBoy recliner had dog hair all over it and smelled like hot garbage. The cabin smelled horrible and the floors were filthy.
