We smoke some of the best barbecue on the planet--pulled pork, baby back ribs, smoked steak, and smoked chicken. We make our own marinade, rub, and barbecue sauce, and we smoke with hickory cut right here on our mountain. Our Friday barbecue dinners have mountain music, bonfire, and storytelling. We're a small mountain farm with farm fresh produce, milk, cheeses, and free range eggs. This place is outstanding! First and foremost, it's a working farm so please don't expect a red carpet when you arrive. But do expect a lot of animals, a super friendly staff and owner, clean and we'll appointed cabins, and a lot of quiet time off the grid. Our family had a great time!
Staff overly helpful, informative and generous. Cabin neat, clean and beautifully furnished. The beautiful white dogs provided a sense of total security. The farm animals were of all kinds, goats, pigs, chickens, horses and cows. Will eagerly visit again. Dr. Hightower
Stayed there this past weekend. Exceeded our expectations! This weekend was our 10th anniversary and we wanted to have a relaxing time, and boy did we. This slice of heaven carved in the mountain was top notch. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly. The Cabins were very well kept and clean. The farm itself is awesome to be around, and the beautiful dogs were one of our favorite parts. Can't wait to get back! !
Amazing place! Myself and 4 of my friends stayed for the weekend and we had amazing time! Our cabin was awesome, so quant and cozy. Plus the scenery was STUNNING, pictures don't do it justice. Not to mention having the insanely precious guard dogs just letting themselves onto our screen porch was definitely unexpected but they were so sweet and just wanted all of our love! Definitely recommend this place and will be back some day!
