They tried to add additional charge for late checkout. We called prior to booking room and was told late checkout of 3-3:30 would be fine and did not disclose there would be any additional fees. The day of late checkout we called to again remind them of our late departure, as we were instructed. This is when they disclose it would be an additional 1/2 charge for the room. I thought the MLK banquet was awesome! Love the ambiance when you walk into Ramada...
Ordered room service and 30 mins later had to call down to see where our food was come to find out they forgot the room number. So then she says were gonna make it now 5 mins later our food was there cold and gross I literally got sick. And no reimbursement was offered.
I drop in on occasion and visit Madie's, good sandwiches and great cocktails, no longer par take of the Martini's but interesting folks make up for the abstinence. Great Blues Club on the weekends. One of the few places to go on the East Side of Town.
We had a very good time was there all weekend. it was clean the guys that took care of the buffet was very polite but took care of all our needs. The Madison St., Café does need some help very slow waiting on people very slow getting the food out
For an older hotel, the accommodations were very good. The New Year's eve party was definitely an event not to mess. The bands were great, but it was hard to see them all. We will definitely be back for this event next year!
