Ramada Downtown Topeka is an excellent place to stay. We got the New Year's Eve package. The rooms, bands, and food was great. Can't wait to see what they do next!
I attended a company holiday party here last night and was not impressed. The ballroom was FREEZING, even after numerous people complained. A few of the wait staff literally looked like they had just rolled out of bed, the salad was wilted & the steaks were so over cooked/tough that most people at our table gave up w/o eating. The icing on the dessert had turned into a stale plastic sheet of chocolate by the time it came out to the tables. And it was all so cold due to the temp in the ballroom!
