My first visit in spite of growing up here in capital district. Pleasantly surprised at modern upgrades in rooms and lobby decor. Didn't stay long enough to check out the pool. Free hot breakfast was delicious and had great variety including real eggs and corned beef hash. Industrial area surrounds it but easy access to Highway, downtown shopping areas and restaurants. I would definitely stay again.
My room was very comfortable, I slept like a baby. Breakfast was great.
The banquet room was lovely loved the fried fish �Awesome the whole meal was very good � down to the dessert Apple Pie
The pool was freezing cold. They said they would have someone look at it in the morning. The purpose of me chosen a hotel with a pool was so we could swim!!!!. Otherwise we would have stayed at a cheaper hotel with no pool.!!! The shower was Luke warm and didn't get any hotter. The girl at the front desk was rude in the way she was talking to me. The beds looked like they're made in a rush. Flies in the rooms. The tub was full of water. Leaves the question if the sheets are clean. Taylor and Stacey are bad at customer service. No empathy for guests if they use CLC Lodging. All guests matter.
It's not the plaza but the staff is not nosey the pools are great and no insane cameras watching ur every move great for the fellas not for the girls
My work puts me here all the time, for 15 years now, so I'm an expert I suppose. It's a decent place- my big issue is that there aren't enough outlets for my laptops and phone chargers. Also many rooms are missing office chairs at the room desks. Some rooms only have one waste basket. Other than that - the staff is very friendly and helpful and the beds are excellent (very soft) I have no problem staying here at all. Oh but I almost forgot the major criticism .... True wi-fi is just awful!
Where can I start. Turning bed down first night...big bug. Knew it wasn't a bed bug and front desk made a point of telling me that since they have googled the picture I showed them in the past. Going on 6 days and my sheets have not been changed. Bed made but no clean sheets. What's up with water pressure and hot and cold water cycling through a shower. Whole place is filthy.
