I dont understand how all food and shopping closes at 8pm when there are still flights that take off later. Then theres the flights that get delayed and people need to eat, or even want something to drink. No where is this advertised, that all things need to be purchased before 8pm. In other airports restaurants/stores are at least open until 10pm.

RDU is such a beautiful facility, but the way it is run is incredibly inconsistant. You can go one day and have a good experience and go another and it is awful. We allowed 2.5 hours to get through the bag check and tsa line today and we barely made it to our plane. That is unaaceptable. In our plane there were 8 people around us that did not make the flight! Sent message to the airport on there website on how the security personnel through my daughters insulin needles away. My daughter is a minor and they never told her they did that. Plus wouldn’t bother looking at her diabetic letter from the clinic about going through the X-ray machine with her devices on. Very not happy with them.
