I despised my airline experience (by choice, I will never fly American Airlines again.) - but the RDU airport experience is five-star in my opinion! Gates are closer together, and the layout is just so much better than most airports. This is a great airport to fly in to, or out of. My only mild complaint is that you have to be shuttled by bus to and from the car rental agencies But overall, wonderful airport!
