Signage coming into the airport could be better. A sign that says Terminal Parking made us think that the particular lane was for parking at the terminal. We didn't want to park, so we started to go left, but then at the last minute realized the sign actually meant "Terminal AND Parking" Parking facility was gorgeous...HUGE, but gorgeous. Once you're inside, go see Chris at the little coffee shop to the right of the security entrance. I travel a lot and I was impressed with how clean this airport was. The staff was also friendly and helpful for the most part. The one big problem with RDU is that it is not designed well for the volume of traffic that the holidays bring. This was my worst experience ever with getting through security. There was not enough room for people to continue moving once they had their boarding passes and IDs checked. I love this airport! I've been flying to Raleigh from Chicago for the last year and I never have a problem. Tsa is always nice and it never takes too long to get to my gate.
I was here last night, I came from Miami FL and I love Raleigh airport because it's so easy and small. I've been in Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte airports and they're to big and complicated.
