It's always easy getting in and out of RDU. The agents are super friendly.
I'm always satisfied with RDU, it's never a huge hassle to go from my terminal to baggage claim , which makes my traveling comfortable !!
I cannot believe how you treat or military. American airline agent made my son who is coming home from army. Told my son take his army bag with then got stopped at gate said he couldn't take it hence made him get another flight made him pay an additional 406 dollars made him miss his homecoming party. Had the worst experience of my life with a burly security official who most probably mistook me for some kind of a terrorist or human bomb. Except for stripping me, he put me through a lot of unacceptable groping all parts of my body for a good twenty minutes. It was probably because of my Sikh turban. Raleigh-Durham was one my favourite airports; this experience has cost the airport at least a couple of stars.
Most of the staff and security was rude and not very helpful. Anyone asking questions was answered as if they were an idiot to ask anything. We had family members in wheelchairs and they were barley treated as humans. They have a lot of work to do there.
Security was on point and efficient , but when we got home at 11pm they had 4 flights and 1 baggage claim open. 300 people trying to get their bags at the same time, took 45 minutes before they figured out that was a bad idea.
My experience was horrible. American Airline Customer Service is horrible!!!
