There are no government orders prohibiting outdoor events in the state of Washington in August. They prematurely cancelled the Rainier Trail event, without cause, so they can't even quote their own waiver when denying refunds. I've filed both a chargeback and a complaint with the Utah AG.

I’m signed up with another race company and they sent me my money back without me even asking. I had to go search for the info, only to find my race cancelled and no refund option offered from Ragnar. They have Not spent my entrance fee so far in advance, a portion should be an option to be refunded. Total rip off and leaves me with very little desire to participate in future races out on by them. Even the event created on Facebook has no cancellation info.
I have to agree with others that posted here about the cancellations. The SC trail relay at the end of October has been cancelled. Our group had chosen that race as it did not require significant additional travel. Disappointed there is not a refund option, at least for a portion of the cost paid. No guarantee that the location will be an option in 2021. At least the last race I was signed up for that was cancelled due to a pending hurricane still provided me with the race t-shirt.
They canceled my race over six months out which totaled over $1200 with only the option to reschedule. I live in SC and this is the last year they’re holding a race here. How do they expect 8 people with families to pack up, head to another state to run in a camping weekend race?? I will NEVER support this brand again.
I have ran the northwest passage for 7 years! I understand no one can control this pandemic we are all in. However, how you choose to treat your runners after a time when people are suffering says a lot. The fact that you will not be refunding is absolutely nothing short of selfish!
They cancelled a run 3 months out and won’t refund the money. These are very expensive events and they’re just keeping it. I won’t support them at all.
