So far so good, only arrived at the lovely accommodation this afternoon, found it neat and tidy. As yet haven't had time to check out Beadnell itself but it seems quite charming
We visited a couple holidaying here with their two little toddlers. On a cold and dismal afternoon it quickly warmed up, and we enjoyed a comfortable cuppa with cake. Only 4 stars as there is no porch, as Northumbrians we can't understand why any property is built without a porch for removing wet shoes and coats before coming inside. Also in it's favour it's less than a 10 minute walk to what must be Northumberland's most popular multi sport beach. If watersports float your boat, then Beadnell is the ideal option.
Just had a great week in quarry bank cottage. It's Within walking distance to 2 lovely beaches and central for touring around .. definitely recommend it x
I took my autistic friend and we had a really good time. He struggles to adjust but was able to relax and he was calm which was amazing to see. He enjoyed the walks on the beach and enjoyed going to seahouses as he used to go there with his sister and had fond memories. Thank you.
Perfect place to relax and unwind. So peaceful and quiet. The cottage had everything I needed and more. The sofas were a bit too comfy at times! It was lovely to sit out in the enclosed garden with my dog and listen to the water lapping at the edges of the lake and watching the sunrise and sunsets. I even wrapped up warm and watched a meteor shower as the night sky was so clear from the garden. Wonderful walks to the various beaches too and the historic kilns. Great stay, hope to be back.
