We just had an extremely poor experience in the ER trying to get my little boy, who is autistic, seen after a grand mal seizure. I was told in a very rude and obnoxious manner that it would be 2 hours before he would be taken in. I would add that although I was upset, I was extremely polite. No compassion at all from the front desk person, he seemed absolutely annoyed that I even approached him. Something’s wrong when a young child is put at the bottom of the list.

This is about the ER and I have left messages with the hospital. We had a similar experience with my mom a few months ago. Last night, my son was having horrible abdominal pain and it got worse and worse. We went to the ER at 2:30am and were hoping it was not his appendix. policy on covid is a joke. 1 person per patient in surgical waiting. my mom will be stuck in a waiting room alone for several hours while the front lobby of the hospital is full of people and the chairs are not 6 foot apary in all directions. sick of covid. if masks and distance work why all of the hypocritical "new policies"?
go to Flagler hospital they treat you like a person
This is for the ER side. Took son who has a family history of chest problems and has minor pectus excavatun (funnel chest) to the ER for having a high level of chest pain. They never found anything, never stopped the high chest pain levels and refused an xray. Forced us to leave saying that they would text us later with results. He was dismissed because these ER people don't care about their patients. You can constantly hear them complaining while you wait to be seen. Poor diagnosis and horrible treatment of the family of Tanner that subsequently led to his death.
This is the worst so called medical center if you want to call it that. My mother fell inside their facility and they will not give us any information just that it was her fault. She is 89 years old. They didn’t put her in a wheelchair and left her in the emergency room. She had to have stitches where it busted her head from the fall. she has a black eye bruised arm and leg. I do not recommend going here for anything. The staff is rude and very inconsiderate. The Director of CCU, Callie is extremely unprofessional and hung up the phone while I was trying to ask about visitation policies on end of life patients. She didn't have time to answer my questions.
