Just had an emergency a few weeks ago. They forgot to enter the proper code so now my i surance is billing me $6,000+ bevause they made a mistake. Also, referred us to a specialist that had nothing to do with rhe issue. Months ago we had a different emergency. They ran the visit through my insurance twice and once using the wrong name. My minor child was the patient I called to resolve the issue and was told they would only speak to my son. Thank you Putnam Community Medical Center for a wonderful experience yesterday. From the time I walked in the door to the time I left, every one was very pleasant and nice before and after my surgery.
I was just taken to the emergency room and tried to get myself committed. No matter what I said, the hospital refused to have me committed, and now I'm walking the streets with pretty much no hope of survival.
Horrible hospital. Girlfriend went in with trouble breathing and they did nothing basically said nothing was wrong with her. Finally talked her into going to St. Augustine and she has pneumonia and was told the Palatka hospital should have found it. So over week of suffering and getting worse because these people don’t do their jobs

everyone hears a lot of negative remarks about putnam. but in the early hours of the morning my little was rushed in by ems for seizures. The doctors and nurses on staff that took care of my little were absolutely amazing. They did very well with her and myself. especially me being a panicked mother that has never dealt with that situation before. they took their time and taught me what to do and what they were. they were very genuine.
