I don't understand the complaints. The contract is clear about cancellations...no surprise. The gym has all of the amenities at a great price! The staff is friendly and helpful. Yes, it's a business, and they want to have members sign on with a trainer. But, they aren't pushy. I declined, as I've belonged to other gyms, and took a couple of semesters of weight training in college. I love this place!
Today I joined Pure Fitness and it just felt like home. I had the pleasure of meeting the general manager and what an experience it was. Love the idea of it being a women only gym. I now have a new leaf on life without the pressure of men gazing and drulling everywhere. Thanks for everything.
This is my second time as a member here; I had no trouble cancelling when I left to join a gym closer to my house (which closed shortly after, bummer). I have read all the negative reviews and have friends who had similar experiences, so I do believe them. However, my own experience has been very different. Have not met a rude or unhelpful person yet, employee or member. To be fair though, I don't have a lot of interaction as I am a fibromyalgia sufferer so I choreograph my own workouts.
