Worst experience with a pharmacy. After enrolling for auto refill and getting a confirmation that it has been shipped I came to find out the perception for never sent. 3 weeks break in treatment and counting. Customer service was unbelievably rude and incompetent. I was placed on an escalation list and told I will get a follow up in 48 hr. A week later I have not heard back.
I think they are running some kind of scam. My insurance was charged for the drug, but we never received it. Every time I call, I am told the prescription is "in the mail". After three weeks, I don't think it's coming. The worst part is they are charging my insurance so I can't get the pills at my local pharmacy.
I received my prescriptions on the 1st day of the month. My gels were through PruGen and the pills were through another company. Both pharmacies said something about having to confirm with my insurance and since it was a Friday I waited until Monday. The other company processed everything and I received my medicine the next day. In contrast, PruGen never called me, when they finally did they said I should receive it on Thursday. I don’t. Very disappointing! My son is getting 2 prescriptions from them. The first time the prescriptions were filled, they told us one of them was not covered by insurance so it would be a $35.00 fee. Called to get them refilled and they said both prescriptions were not covered and it would cost $70.00. I told them that the first time we only had to pay for one because they told us the other was covered. They said we paid for both. Takes me 3 weeks to receive my derm medicine every time I refill. By the time I receive the medicine, my acne is as if I had never started treatment. Avoid this company, waiting 3 weeks to receive medicine is ridiculous. Imagine if this was a hypertensive or psychiatric medicine, that’s dangerous to leave your customers on the hook for so long. “You will receive your medication in 4-5 business days” bullshit, more like 15 if I’m lucky. AVOID.
Very disappointing. started using a couple of the prescriptions for my son, $0 co pay. I had a 6 refill prescription and refilled once, now they are going to charge me $35 per prescription each refill. Give you all the bells and whistles and now you are going to change your policy and start charging.. A joke.
Their system works either until you change addresses or until a pharmacy that PruGen contracts through doesn’t fill your prescription anymore, whichever comes first. After that, you have to constantly make phone calls about your prescription that hasn’t arrived for three weeks. I’ve called several times to give my current address, my latest insurance information, and to check up on the prescription and they say everything is all good. huh... I have the worst luck with anything... but surprised that ordering with them was friendly, easy and quick. go figure. I prob. should always look for the worst reviews and my luck with everything will be opposite of usual bad service.
Worst customer service ever. Lost the prescription. Lost our address. Sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. Seriously?!
